COMMUNITY & VOLUNTEERING

Team Roaring Mouse has earned a reputation as a highly regarded ambassador for the cycling community. Our members volunteer more than 1,000 hours annually in support of bike oriented events and groups throughout the Bay Area. A few of our top organizational partners include:

TEAM RIDES & EVENTS

TRM holds regular rides throughout the year for current and prospective members. Join us on one of our Monthly Mouse Rides to learn more about the team.

Monthly Mouse Rides happen the last Saturday of each month. The goal of the ride is to be a fun, social morning for teammates and friends to ride together. Meet for coffee and pastries at Roaring Mouse Cycles at 8:30am, roll out at 9:00am, back to the shop by 12:00pm. Exact route is determined based on who comes, but is typically 20-30 miles in Marin and the Headlands with road or dirt options. Pace is social and no drop.

We also organize weekend camps and trips, separate from races, where team member can enjoy a few days of riding and debauchery with each other. Typical locations for these trips include Downieville, Tahoe, Guerneville, Santa Cruz, and San Luis Obispo.

RACES

Our members race across all disciplines, categories, and age groups. There will rarely be a day with only one Mouse in the field. Mice infestations are common at XC, enduro, gravel, and cyclocross races, but don't be surprised if you spot a mouse in a crit or road race too.
